Banana Oat Cookies Ingredients

Instructions step by step:

Step 1 – Smash the bananas with a fork until smooth. Preheat the oven at 170C.

Step 2 – Add the ground linseeds to the oats and mix. Now fold the banana and peanut butter. You can add some extras now, I add goji berries.

Step 3 – Set up a baking sheet on an oven tray. With a spoon grab a portion of the dough and drop in in the tray. Shape it with your hands into a cookie shape. Bake for 15 mins.

About these Ingredients:

Oats: I use organic jumbo oats for a hearty texture. You can use any oats you have—rolled or porridge oats work too. For a mix of textures and easier blending, I pulse half the oats in a food processor. If you’re using finer oats, you can skip this step.

Nut Butter: I use my homemade peanut butter, but almond butter or any nut butter you love will work. Making your own is easy and rewarding—all you need is one ingredient, a bit of time, and love.

Flaxseeds: I’m using golden linseeds for their colour, but any type works. These tiny seeds are a powerhouse—great for digestion, reducing inflammation, and supporting overall health. I love adding them to cookies, oatmeal, and just about everything!

Optional Add-Ons: Feel free to customise your cookies! Try goji berries, chocolate chips, chopped dates, or warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, or cardamom for an extra flavour boost.
